It takes quite a bit of arrogance for Barack Obama to attempt to give deficit advice to other countries when he is presiding over America's highest deficit under his term in office than at any other time.? Germany's finance Minister, Wolfgang Schaeuble, is calling Obama out on that arrogance.
Via AP:
Germany's finance minister is rejecting U.S. President Barack Obama's calls on Europe to move faster in fighting its debt crisis, telling him to get the American deficit under control instead.Wolfgang Schaeuble told public broadcaster ZDF in an interview late Sunday that "people are always very quick at giving others advice."
He says: "Mr. Obama should first of all take care of reducing the American deficit, which is higher than in the eurozone."
About time another country publicly tells Obama to stop giving them advice to follow him over the debt cliff by pushing for policies that have failed to bring America's deficit under control and has made it worse.
