At the forefront of innovation in front-end web development, the winning combination of HTML5 and JavaScript reign supreme. The bond between this inseparable duo is so strong that it has become the target platform-of-choice for new scripting languages and has spawned a healthy presence on the back-end.

Quickly get up to speed running your code, both in browser and on server, with one of these three great new titles:

- Dart: Up and Running
Google designed the Dart platform to scale from simple scripts to complex apps. With this book, you'll learn how to build web apps with the class-based, object-oriented Dart language, and compile your code to JavaScript.

- HTML5 and JavaScript Web Apps
This hands-on book shows you how to work with HTML5, JavaScript MVC frameworks, and the latest W3C specifications to build mobile and desktop web apps that are widely supported across all browsers and devices.

- ClojureScript: Up and Running
With this book, you'll learn how to build complete client-side applications with ClojureScript, the Clojure language variant that compiles to optimized JavaScript.
