Here are some great tips to help you host your own Cinco de Mayo party here at your Stafford luxury apartments.
A Stafford Cinco de Mayo party is only done right when you have good food, good drink, and festive colors. Nubry offers some suggestions, but to get your party started, go with these three basics.
- Party Food: Good appetizer foods include nachos and individual seven layer dip. For the main course, burritos and fajitas are the way to go. As a desert, mexican brownies are always a nice treat.
- Party Drinks: Margaritas frozen or on the rocks are always a good call. You should be able find a Margarita recipe to suit anyone, but Sangria is a good second choice. You can make a couple batches the night before so that the fruit is nicely fermented and ready for your party on May 5th.
- Festive Colors: Incorporate the colors of the Mexican flag into your food and drinks. For instance a melon mint sangria highlights very well the green, white, and red colors of the flag. While you can make Margaritas reflective of the colors of flag as well, margarita cupcakes?a are nice added touch for color and flavor.
